Online diamond and jewelry retailer Blue Nile will be attempting to emulate its success in the U.S. by setting up shop in the U.K., the Financial Times reports.
Blue Nile said its operation will be in Ireland and involve “only a handful of employees,” with site technology handled from the U.S., the newspaper reports. So far, it has sold goods worth about $3.3 million to U.K. customers using a trial site with products priced in dollars.
