Sue Bell, senior vice president of Blue Nile, plans to retire on June 15.

Bell has been with the company since 2001. She currently oversees Blue Nile’s merchandising, planning, and diamond supply functions.

The company is currently searching for a candidate to fill her position.

Blue Nile recently announced that its first quarter sales increased 3.6 percent to $83.1 million, but it profits sank to $154,000, down from last year’s $2.4 million.
