Bird is the Word: Armaggan’s Gold and Diamond Peacock Brooch

The design of a stylized peacock brooch in 18k white gold is
inspired from the drawings of Selçuk-era palace tiles, according to Turkish
design house Armaggan. The piece has 6.94 cts. t.w. colorless and 3.25 cts.
t.w. cognac diamonds, and is 5.2 inches long and 1.9 inches wide—as big as a
bookmark, or, a pair of retro aviator-style eyeglasses—so it’s sure to make a statement
on the wearer. It’s also one in a series of five peacock jewels made in homage
to the pretty-feathered creatures.
