For those skywatchers out there
Staring at the stars is an activity traditionally reserved for the summertime: In most cases, it’s just too cold now to kick back, relax, and gaze up at the sky. Living in a city, I don’t often get the opportunity to marvel at the stars, and this summer, I did just that. And it seems so silly, how simply looking upward can be such a wonderful thing, but it’s a memory of the summer’s past that I’ll hold dear for a long time. Maybe that’s why I’m so drawn to celestial jewelry, because it’s a little piece of that to carry with me no matter where or when. As we move into the winter, and with daylight savings time spoiling all of our fun and shortening our days this weekend, I embrace these jewels as little, marvelous reminders of how it feels to be in that place again. These jewels offer that same feeling of wonder, with their miraculous presentations. I’d find it hard to believe that anyone—even those that don’t love to venture outdoors—could be anything but entranced.
