To help the company further the brand’s reach and penetration into the market, Bergio has named Scott Wanstrath as its new president.
Wanstrath has more than 28 years experience in sales, merchandising, and marketing for well-known jewelry companies.
“I believe in branding, and I believe in having a personality behind the brand,” Wanstrath says. “With Bergio, the personality is there – I’m going to make sure that the jewelry, the brand, and the personality all come together as one cohesive package.”
Wanstrath was most recently executive vice president of merchandising and sales for LID, Ltd., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of polished diamonds and diamond jewelry. He developed new product lines, including bridal and fashion jewelry. In doing so, he revamped LID’s marketing strategy, moving the focus from basic products to high-end finished pieces. He also served as executive vice president of sales and head of advertising for M. Fabrikant & Sons, one of the oldest and most respected diamond and jewelry companies in the world.
Bergio, Fairfield, N.J., was founded by Berge Abajian. It specializes in bridal and fashion diamond and colored stone jewelry, using with gold and platinum.
