Iconic jewelry brand David Yurman has shared a few behind-the-scenes photos from its first campaign helmed by new chief creative officer, Evan Yurman, son of company founders Sybil and David Yurman.
Evan’s been the third leg in the David Yurman creative tripod since 1993, when he began collaborating with his artist parents on the design side for the brand’s men’s, wedding, timepiece, and high jewelry collections (the latter of which he pioneered and oversaw).
And they certainly picked a dreamy place to do it. The campaign was shot at the gorgeous GoldenEye resort in Oracabessa, Jamaica. It stars a few super-supermodels—Amber Valletta, Joan Smalls, and Ashley Graham—alongside a handful of up-and-comers, including Anna Ewers, Meghan Roche, Florence Clapcott, and Cobi.
“The diverse group of seasoned and new models were chosen to reflect who the David Yurman client is at different stages in their lives in those everyday moments,” reads a company press release on the campaign.
The theme of the campaign, “Celebration,” was chosen to pay homage to some of the brand’s most well-known campaigns, while “establishing [Evan’s] vision for the future,” according to the release.
David Yurman’s first-ever lifestyle campaign was photographed in 2001 by Lindbergh, and featured Amber Valletta and Patti Hansen.
