If you aren’t familiar with the jewelry of Jeanne Johngren, you will be after picking up the Winter 2008 issue of JCK Luxury.

Johngren is a former film producer turned jewelry designer with whom I was lucky enough to share brunch, after her JCK Luxury photo shoot at New York Film Academy in Union Square.
I was surprised to learn that Johngren had worked on one of my favorite music videos, but what did not come as a shock was her passion for design or her eloquence on the subject:
“I love seeing the game unfold, watching the various permutations in each relationship of art and artist develop.” -Jeanne Johngren
All that I have to add is that if you pass by Johngren’s booth at a show without stopping … well, I think Mr. T would have some choice words for you.
Check out the photos below for a behind the scenes look at what we here at the JCK Group do leading up to you reading our stories in the magazine.
Erik Ekroth, photog extraordinaire, and Todd Gast, art director of the JCK Group, take a few test shots for the Jeanne Johngren shoot in the main auditorium of New York Film Academy.
Johngren and Gast go through the wardrobe and accessory choices for the shoot.
Ekroth gives Johngren a bit of direction during the Jeanne Johngren shoot for the Winter 2008 issue of JCK Luxury.
Ekroth and Johngren review a few of the digital test shots.
