Famed designer Michael Beaudry tells JCK he is releasing new collections with a new company, Beaudry International.
Spokeswoman Rebecca Moskal says that Michael Beaudry Inc., currently in Chapter 11, hasn’t been used for a while and will be ceasing operations, after settling a $15 million secured credit line with its secured lender. However, the designer is focusing on Beaudry International.
“We have successfully retooled our businesses and have learned valuable lessons that will allow Beaudry to grow even as the economy remains challenging,” Beaudry said in a statement. “We have seen a noteworthy uptick with the ultra high-end consumer and we expect to see continued optimism in consumer sentiment.”
