The Southern Jewelry
Travelers Association recently announced plans to offer the Gemological Institute of
America Pearl Grading Lab class during the 2011 Atlanta Jewelry Show at the
Cobb Galleria Centre August 6–8.
Providing a mix of lecture
and hands-on training in an action-oriented classroom environment, the GIA
Pearl Grading Lab class is available to Atlanta Jewelry Show attendees
interested in completing or pursuing a GIA Graduate Pearls Diploma or in
fine-tuning their product knowledge and pearl grading skills. The class is
scheduled to be held on August 8 from 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
