Returning to the Cobb Galleria Centre August 7-9, the Atlanta Jewelry Show will take buyer services to new heights with even more new exhibits, initiatives and an unrivaled educational line-up. Among the highlights are the enhanced “Buy More. Fly More” buyer loyalty program, the Southeast debut of the unique South Sea Cultured Pearl exhibit, a keynote address from the world’s first and only “disillusionist,” and the opportunity to explore countless new introductions and designs from the industry’s top manufacturers and southeast sales representatives.
“We’re continually exploring new ways to further secure the Atlanta Jewelry Show’s position as the ‘must attend’ event for the region’s new and established retailers, and the August show is no exception,” said Carol Young, executive director, Southern Jewelry Travelers Association (SJTA), managers and producers of the Atlanta Jewelry Show. “We know that time is money to our customers, so we’ve brought together the best possible combination of new product resources, money-saving incentives, events and educational programming to ensure that retailers have a truly profitable and enjoyable experience at our show.”
Highlights include:
“Buy More. Fly More.” Building upon the successful “You Buy. You Fly” buyer loyalty initiative, SJTA has expanded the program for the August show to give buyers even more opportunities to earn Delta SkyMiles based on orders placed at the show. The enhanced program (sponsored by JCK Magazine) will award a 25% mileage bonus to buyers who receive 20,000 miles or more from exhibitors based on purchases during the August show. As the only trade show buyer loyalty incentive of its kind in the jewelry industry, this program was launched during the winter 2004 show when SJTA purchased more than four million Delta SkyMiles for exhibitors to award to customers for orders written at the show—ensuring that virtually all retailers can leave the Atlanta Jewelry Showwith SkyMiles.
Southeast’s only showing of South Sea cultured pearl exhibit. SJTA has partnered with the South Sea Pearl Consortium (SSPC) to feature a unique cultured South Sea Pearl exhibit during the Atlanta Jewelry Show. As the largest and rarest cultured pearls in the world, South Sea cultured pearls are available in a range of shapes, unique sizes and exquisite creations.
Featuring some of the finest white South Sea cultured pearl strands from Paspaley, the largest pearl producers in Australia, along with award-winning creations by some of Europe’s most famous designers, and a range of rare loose pearls inspired by Mother Nature, this exhibit – the only one of its kind in the Southeast – will be featured in the center of the Atlanta Jewelry Show’s popular Point of View: A Designer Gallery section. Retailers will not want to miss the rare opportunity to explore this exhibit and learn more about the tremendous profit potential these pearls offer. Complementing the exhibit, Suzi Jarrell, communications director, SSPC, will lead a program highlighting the pearls’ attributes and sales techniques on Saturday, August 7.
Resources and introductions. The Atlanta Jewelry Show will bring together more than 850 exhibiting companies showcasing introductions from top name brands and designers in every product category, including antique jewelry, bridal, designer, diamond, pearl, platinum, gold and sterling jewelry, charms, earrings, diamonds, watches, tools and much more.
Buyer Gala. All buyers and exhibitors are invited to attend the “Fabulous Fifties Gala” on Sunday, Aug. 8, from 6:00 p.m. at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel.
