“We chose this year’s theme to reflect the diversity of our students, as well as the range of work they create. We saw the theme as a metaphor for an enjoyable banquet where there are so many delicious choices that everyone leaves satisfied,”

“Atlanta Jewelry Show attendees had the chance to see some beautifully produced traditional work, interesting uses of materials, different solutions using newer technologies and work that may even challenge the viewer’s perceptions about what jewelry can or ought to be,” said Bonnie Kubasta, professor of metals and jewelry, SCAD.

The competition is open to students and alumni from SCAD. Entries are judged by a panel of experts, including members of the press, industry designers, retail jewelry store owners, SCAD faculty and guest judges.
