Atlanta Jewelry Show Offers Rewards, Products, and Education

The Atlanta Jewelry Show will be held at Cobb Galleria Centre Aug. 11-13. Features for the trade show include enhanced SJTA Rewards buyer loyalty program, co-location with the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers Mid-Year Conference, and a rare exhibit of Brazilian jewelry presented by the Gemological Institute of America Museum. Retailers will be able to explore more than 800 exhibiting companies showcasing introductions from top-name brands and designers in every product category.

“The August show promises to be a truly rewarding experience for retailers,” said Carol Young, executive director, Southern Jewelry Travelers Association, which managers and producers of the Atlanta Jewelry Show. “Our focus continues to zero in on added value. From new resources to new programs, we’re always looking for ways to make sure retailers enjoy a cost-effective, convenient and profitable show experience.

Show highlights include:
Expanded SJTA Rewards Program: In an effort to maximize the reward potential for retailers attending the show, SJTA has streamlined and expanded its new SJTA Rewards program. Retailers will still earn reward points for every dollar spent at the show, but a new awarding process now ensures that retailers will earn even more points, which can then be redeemed for numerous rewards, including electronics and luxury travel packages through the SJTA Rewards website.

SJTA, NAJA co-locate August Events: In an effort to further expand the educational, networking, and product resources, the NAJA and the SJTA are co-locating their events in August. The NAJA 28th Annual Mid-Year Conference, August 11-14, 2007, will be held in conjunction with the Atlanta Jewelry Show. As part of the joint effort, NAJA will offer educational seminars to the full-scale Atlanta Jewelry Show SJTA U program. In turn, the NAJA members will have the opportunity to supplement their educational offerings with SJTA U programs.

Gemstones From Brazil at GIA Museum Collection Booth: SJTA has partnered with the GIA to give retailers the rare opportunity to preview a collection of Brazilian jewelry highlighting the country’s true spirit and soul during the Atlanta Jewelry Show. As the only showing of its kind in the Southeast, this exhibit will be featured in the GIA’s special “Collection Booth” in the Point of View: A Designer Gallery.

Expanded SJTA U: Featuring a full roster of seminars, including business-building additions from organizations like NAJA and MJSA, and other programs touching on the top trends and business issues impacting independent jewelers today, this program arms retailers with the practical tools and marketing tips they need to succeed.
