In October, luxury book publisher Assouline will release The Pearl Necklace, a new book about the history and allure of the pearl.
The book features an introduction by journalist and jewelry historian Vivienne Becker and includes archival images and one-of-a-kind pieces from Mikimoto.
Becker has collaborated with the publisher on previous volumes including The Impossible Collection of Jewelry, Alexandre Reza, Sevan Biçakçi, and Cartier Panthère.
