For Tomfoolery’s 2025 Art Ring exhibition—opening tomorrow at the London store—the theme is seasons. Each participating jeweler was invited to create one-of-a-kind statement rings that capture an essence of winter, spring, summer, or fall through color, gemstones, and texture.
“Jewelry has a remarkable ability to hold memories—people often recall not just the moment, but even the weather, the light, the season,” says Tomfoolery creative director Laura Kay. “Through thoughtful placement, craftsmanship, and material choice, these memories can be transformed into something deeply personal and wearable, making jewelry the perfect medium for everyday connection.
“This is why I chose seasons as the theme for this year’s Art Ring: It’s a fundamental part of our daily experience, constantly shifting, shaping, and coloring the memories we carry.”
Art Ring, an annual selling exhibition at Tomfoolery, showcases an assortment of unique rings created exclusively for the event. Last year, for Tomfoolery’s 30th anniversary, the theme was using three distinct design elements.
There are 42 participating designers this year, the seventh for Art Ring. A tour through the exhibit takes one through the changing of the seasons, telling a story of a year unfolding.
Here are just a few of our favorite rings in the 2025 Art Ring collection, which is available to view and purchase at Tomfoolery’s Muswell Hill shop or, for those who can’t attend in person, on the retailer’s website.
