Armed Robbery Caught on Video

Three men who robbed a jewelry store in Chino Hills, Calif., June 11 were caught on video surveillance and local police released the images in the hopes the thieves can be identified and captured

The video was released by television station KTLA in Los Angeles and can be viewed on its Web site.

Police reportedly said two men entered the store and confronted the manager at gunpoint. They then led her to a back room while pointing a gun at her head.

The manager, whose identity is hidden for her protection, says the men told her they would shoot her if she did “anything stupid,” the news station reports.

Authorities reportedly said and the video confirms that a third man entered the store while the thieves cleared out all of the display cases.

They fled with more than $650, 000 worth of merchandise, the station reports.

The manager, who was unharmed, reportedly said the men were speaking Spanish and were possibly Salvadorian.

The store owner says he plans on closing and did not have insurance, the station reports.
