Arkansas’ Sissy’s Log Cabin Opens a 4th Store

The company is the largest independent fine jeweler in Arkansas

Arkansas-based fine jewelry chain, Sissy’s Log Cabin, is spreading its wings in the south. On Oct. 10, the 43-year-old jewelry business opened its fourth location, in Memphis, Tenn.

The new shop stocks Sissy’s signature brands, which include Rolex, Lagos, Scott Kay, and TAG Heuer, and also boasts a custom-design shop-in-shop. Services include appraisals and jewelry repair.

Sissy’s operates three other stores: the original in Pine Bluff, Ark.; Little Rock, Ark.; and Jonesboro, Ark. It’s the largest independent jewelry chain in Arkansas.

Founder Sissy Jones started the business by renting a small log cabin in Pine Bluff that she filled with fine jewelry, a longtime passion of hers. It was also, infamously, riddled with termites.

The humble cabin eventually morphed into a 4,000-square-foot jewelry shop that quickly caught on with local consumers. In 2011, Jones launched her Little Rock store and followed up with the Jonesboro location in 2013.
