Are You Ready for Grammy Awards Fashion?

Editorial assistant Stephanie Schaefer has a much firmer grasp of celebrities, fashion, and pop culture than I do, so I figured she was more qualified to guest blog this Saturday to promote our live Grammy Awards coverage on Feb. 10. Personally, I can’t wait to see what Bob Dylan wears. Enjoy!

Even if you’re tone deaf, you can still appreciate the fashion choices of today’s musicians.

Join senior editor Jennifer Heebner and I for another night of glamour as we live-tweet the 55th Annual Grammy Awards red carpet, starting at 6 p.m. EST this Sunday.

During our coverage of the Golden Globes, I was impressed by diamond statement necklaces, including Olivia Munn’s Chopard jewels and Jessica Alba’s $5.8 million Harry Winston piece.

The Grammy’s are known to be a little bit edgier in terms of fashion. (Last year Fergie of the Black-Eyed Peas showed up looking like Ted Mosby’s “sexy” pumpkin and Nicki Minaj channeled her inner Little Red Riding Hood.)

Some artists, such as Adele, chose to keep it classy (and sparkly). In 2012, the queen of heartfelt ballads shined in Giorgio Armani while wearing hefty De Beers earrings.

This year I’m hoping to see a lot more diamonds as well as some bolder fashion statements from some of the male artists, including Blake Shelton, Frank Ocean, and the boys of Fun, just to name a few.

Here’s our handle, so tweet us, maybe?
