Anthony Nak receives accessory design award

Anthony Nak Jewelry was awarded the Swarovski Perry Ellis Award for Accessory Design on Monday. This honor is among the most coveted awards given by the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Anthony Camargo and Nak Armstrong, the creative team of Anthony Nak Jewelry, have enjoyed success and growth since the company’s inception in 1998, the company said in a statement. Their signature style has evolved into a unique niche of couture adornment. The Anthony Nak brand is synonymous with luxury, exclusivity, and unmistakable beauty.

The designers said the CFDA award solidifies their status as celebrities in their own right.

“This is the goal to which everyone in our industry aspires to achieve,” Armstrong said after receiving the award at a black tie reception in New York City. “There is no higher accolade than this endorsement from our most esteemed contemporaries.”

Camargo added, “I can’t conceive of a greater tribute to our work than this award.”

Swarovski’s Perry Ellis Award for Accessory Design was established in 1986 to honor emerging talent. This is the second consecutive year in which Camargo and Nak were nominated for the award.
