I love this little tidbit that I found on Ryan, so please indulge me …
Thanks to all the gut-wrenching dramatic roles she took on, Ryan earned the nickname “Cryin’ Ryan” from her friends. Though it ended up serving her well for the recurring role for which she first became best known – on the hit HBO series “The Wire” as Baltimore Police Officer “Beadie” Russell, a good cop in over her head. But it was as a defiant, vulgar, resentful woman in “Gone Baby Gone” that Ryan surprisingly made her biggest impact to date. (source)

“Cryin’ Ryan,” how great is that? Ok, moving on …
Nominated for Best Actress in “Gone Baby Gone” Amy Ryan is wearing H.Stern’s Phoebe Earrings with more than 32 cts. t.w. of Diamonds set in 18k white gold (valued at $300,000) and Floral Bracelet made especially for the 2008 Red Carpet in 18k white gold and diamonds (valued at $260,000).
Now, while the Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein dress was, in my opinion, a little darling (in a not so great way) compared to other asymmetrical dresses, I thought that the color was a good choice for Ryan and the earrings were perfect! Yes, even better than the bracelet, which is obviously beatiful, but the shape of the earrings and length of the drop is exactly right.
I think the bracelet, which is meant to be a light floral motif, just kind of hangs. I think that if maybe it were a bit more maleable and wasn’t so structured it would’ve been a different story.
