Lagos chief revenue officer Amanda Willinger is moving to the e-commerce area of jewelry with her new role as the president and COO of Olivela.
While at Lagos for 12 years, Willinger worked on the brand’s omnichannel growth, scaling luxury jewelry across digital. Olivela seeks to use that expertise to build its client experiences online as it seeks to grow into fine jewelry.
Founded in 2017, New York City-based Olivela is a luxury fashion e-commerce website that sells fashion, beauty goods, and jewelry. It also donates 20% of the net proceeds from every purchase to its nonprofit partners, including Dress for Success, Save the Children, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
“What drew me to Olivela is the opportunity to help grow and build a truly differentiated luxury business that pairs exceptional product and elevated customer experience with meaningful impact,” Willinger says. “I’m especially excited to partner with the founder and CEO Stacey Boyd, whose vision and leadership are truly awe-inspiring. I’m energized to work alongside this talented team to shape the future of the business.”
Willinger credits Stacey Boyd for providing the vision and leadership to move her company into an important role for jewelry at the intersection of luxury and impact.
In a LinkedIn post, Boyd said Olivela is moving quickly toward its goal of becoming customers’ destination for fine jewelry. Its goal is to use personalization and elevated customer service to grab that jewelry buyer who likes shopping online.
“With Amanda’s leadership, we are entering an exciting new chapter—one that positions us at the forefront of jewelry while continuing to deliver impact with every purchase,” Boyd said. “At Olivela, luxury has always been a force for good. With Amanda at the helm, we’re just getting started.”
Olivela is positioning itself as a discovery destination for new and well-known jewelry brands. Its longstanding partners include veterans Spinelli Kilcollin, Graziela, Anabela Chan, and Moritz Glik; its emerging designers are companies such as Statement Paris, Yi Collection, Rouvenat, Elizabeth Moore, and Future Fortune.
As part of this strategic shift, Olivela is launching its Jewelry Concierge platform—a high-touch, white-glove service designed to bring the intimacy of in-store fine jewelry shopping into a digital environment, the brand said in a statement.
Willinger started her career in the art world, working for Christie’s, Sotheby’s, and Phillips. She joined David Yurman in 2009 as its director of creative services, leading its digital creative and content marketing for its website. She joined Ippolita in August 2011, where she led its strategic creative direction—photography, packaging, retail, and digital.
She joined Lagos in February 2014 as its vice president in PR, digital, and e-commerce. She served as Lagos’ chief digital officer from March 2020 to August 2023 before becoming the company’s chief revenue officer.
