Alexander Parshkov was appointed vice president for procurement processes at Russian diamond miner Alrosa.
Parshkov formerly headed the procurement department at Rosneft, a Russian oil company.
Procurement issues were formerly handled by the deputy executive director. This new position will centralize procurement procedures and increase their efficiency, Alrosa said.
