Auction house Freeman’s | Hindman has appointed Alexis Vourvoulis, a veteran of Tiffany and Phillips, vice president and senior specialist for jewelry and watches.
In her new role, Vourvoulis will help grow Freeman’s | Hindman’s jewelry department in the New York City and New England regions.
Vourvoulis has over two decades of luxury and jewelry experience. She most recently served as high jewelry team manager at the Tiffany & Co. Landmark store in New York, and prior to that, worked at auction houses Phillips and Bonhams.
She also has taught gems and jewelry at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, in its master’s in art business program, and she founded Bijoux Society in Paris, the first private tour company devoted to the history of jewelry.
