Carolyn Rafaelian will receive the Corporate Advocate Award from the Child Mind Institute
Carolyn Rafaelian, the founder, CEO, and chief operating officer of Alex and Ani, is the 2016 recipient of the Corporate Advocate Award from the Child Mind Institute, a nonprofit organization that works with children with mental health issues.
The award honors Rafaelian’s advocacy and support of mental health awareness. Through the Charity by Design program, which she spearheaded, Alex and Ani has donated $30 million to charities, including the Child Mind Institute.
The program partners with charities and creates a custom charm, donating 20 percent of the sales of the charm to the charity.
