AGTA Announces Board Election Results

New members will assume their positions in February

The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) has announced the results of its annual election for its board of directors.

Elections are held in rotating cycles. New members will take office in February 2017 and serve three-year terms.

The new members are: Pramod Agrawal of Shanu Gems, David Nassi of 100% Natural, Jonathan Gad of Gad Enterprises, Shekhar Shah of Real Gems, Bill Heher of Rare Earth Mining Co., Simon Watt of Mayer & Watt, and Gina Latendresse of American Pearl Co.

Continuing members are Charles Carmona of Guild Laboratories, Kusam Malhotra of K&K International, Jeff Mason of Mason-Kay, Avi Raz of A&Z Pearls, and Robert Van Wagoner of Beija-Flor Wholesale.

Board president Jeffrey Bilgore of Jeffrey Bilgore, LLC, second vice president Bruce Bridges of Bridges Tsavorite, and secretary Cynthia Renee of Cynthia Renee Inc. will continue in their positions.

Gerry Manning of Manning International, Niveet Nagpal of Omi Gems, and Larry Woods, of Jewels From the Woods will complete their terms in February.
