The American Gem Society will offer educational seminars to the membership of Retail Jewelers Organization to promote the understanding of diamond grading reports from various gemological laboratories, the Society announced.
The presentations will be held Saturday, July 12, at Des Moines, Iowa, Marriott from 10:10 to 11:00 a.m., and will repeat at 11:10 a.m. to Noon. The presentation Selling with ‘Certs’ will be presented by Diane Flora, CGA and director of education, at the American Gem Society. She will discuss how reports can be a useful and valuable tool to increase diamond sales. Attendees will learn how to understand the information on a report, interpret its benefits and sell more diamonds with better margins.
