The American Gem Society Laboratories, LLC has launched a new Web site as a resource for members of the jewelry industry trade.
AGSLAB.com navigation and design add to the improved user experience, the Las Vegas-based lab operation said in a statement. Information available on the site includes online registration, cut grade information, AGS Laboratories Grading Reports, and report verification.
“We’ve provided the trade with the information they need to get their diamonds graded quickly and efficiently,” said Frank Dallahan, president and CEO of AGS Laboratories. ‘We’re very excited about our new look and layout, and the site will continue to evolve as we add interactive tutorials and in-depth diamond education tools.”
In early 2008, AGS Laboratories began initiatives to increase search engine exposure from sites such as Google and Yahoo. This program resulted in a 61 percent increase in unique site visits.
“Our goal is to become known in both the trade and to consumers as the ultimate resource for information they need on diamonds and diamond grading,” Dallahan said.
