The Accredited Gemologists Association (AGA) is seeking nominations for the 2015 Antonio C. Bonanno Award for Excellence in Gemology.
The award recognizes those who have made major contributions to the field of gemology or upheld gemological standards in ways benefiting the larger jewelry and gem community.
Membership in the AGA is not required to be nominated or to nominate another.
The deadline for nominations is July 15, 2014, and may be made here. Information on past winners is available here.
The winner will be chosen in the fall by members of the AGA and will be honored at the AGA conference in Tucson, Ariz., in February 2015.
