Adam Virag, of Virag Jewelers in Illonois, died last
Thursday at the age of 90
According to a local obituary, Virag played a key role in
the D-Day invasion in World War II.
Virag tested soldiers’ watches to make sure the timepieces ran properly
and were synchronized.
Virag’s wife, Kathryn, died in 2005. He is survived by two daughter, four
sons, a sister, 12 grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren.
