Gemstones and created stones are indeed truly able to represent nature’s own color spectrum. Swarovski, in recognition of how color is essential to our sense of well-being, has developed its unique Thermal Color Fusion (TCF) technology to cultivate and refine the colors in its created stones. Patented in Austria and the United States, TCF enhances the stone’s surface with a permanent, hard-ceramic layer that is resistant to harsh production and cleaning methods and uses no irradiation in the process. Each color is strictly controlled to maintain consistency no matter the size of stone.

TCF allows Swarovski to continue to extend the modern color wheel and in doing so presents designers with exciting creative possibilities. New for 2016 are four Swarovski Zirconia color innovations: Caramel, an orangey brown that is at once ablaze and smoldering like an amber; Fancy Light Green, promising eternal spring; Fancy Champagne, a light and sparkling tone evoking festive peach champagne bubbles; and crisp and icy Frosty Mint for a modern edgy appeal.
