A. Jaffe to Debut Diamond-Accented Map Jewelry

A. Jaffe has long been prolific in the engagement and wedding band category, so it makes sense that the jewelry manufacturer is finally dipping its toe into the related gift arena. Maps by A. Jaffe is a new collection of sterling silver (four SKUs) and 14k gold (eight SKUs) charm necklaces and bracelets with customizable engraved street intersections bearing a 0.005 ct. diamond located at the exact point where a soon-to-be-married couple met. “The collection is designed to celebrate places where favorite personal memories are made,” explains Lindsey Scoggins, vice president of brand development, who worked on the collection with local fashion jeweler Three Jane.

The maps originated with Three Jane founder Katie Schloss, who founded her business in 2012. When Jaffe discovered the firm and its offerings, it “fell in love with the idea of a collaboration,” says Scoggins. “For us, the map concept had a modern heirloom feeling to it, which has always been an A. Jaffe hallmark, so it was a nice way to expand our brand beyond bridal and give new customers a high-quality, contemporary piece of jewelry.”

The A. Jaffe maps debut on the manufacturer’s website on Oct. 1 and will be available for wholesale purchase in the spring of 2015. The back sides of pieces roughly contain enough room for three lines of lettering, depending on the style. Silver retail prices start at $125, and gold prices start at $450.
