75 Carat Fancy Vivid Yellow Highlights Christie’s Auction



A 75.56 ct. brilliant-cut fancy vivid yellow diamond ring could bring $3 million–$4 million at an Oct. 20 Important Jewels sale at Christie’s New York.

“Fancy vivid” is the highest color grade for fancy colored diamonds. “A diamond of this size and color is truly exceptional,” said a statement from the auction house.

Also on offer:

– A 34.12 ct. cushion-cut fancy yellow diamond ring in platinum and 18k gold

– A 7.11 ct. pear-shape fancy intense yellowish-green diamond ring, set within a circular-cut pink diamond

– An 18.8 ct. D-color marquise-cut diamond ring

– Two perfectly matched, impressive circular-cut diamonds of 20.02 and 20.01 cts., set as single-stone rings.

The auction house is also offering a series of pieces from David Webb, as well as brooches from iconic jewelry design houses Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Tiffany & Co.
