Drop Dead Gorgeous is the name of the gemstone collection from jewelry designer Erica Courtney, and there isn’t a better name for the statement pieces you’ll find. You can tell from the get-go that this is a designer that takes her gemstones very seriously, but there’s a whimsical counterbalance in her styling that lends a playful air to each piece, no matter how important its starring gem is. Scrupulous but not stuffy, high-ticket but not high-and-mighty, these are jewels for the woman who knows and loves her gemstones, but, like the designer herself, isn’t afraid of a little adventure. Spirited and lively, if they had a theme song, I think it’d be “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” Truly, who wouldn’t have fun wearing one of these?
