The food, the wine, the windows…there was a lot to take in at the “Treasures of Umbria: Jewelry by Italian Artisans” event on Nov. 8 in conjunction with the Umbria Trade Agency and Confartigianato at JADED on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Of course, the real reason I was there was to see the colored stone jewelry from 10 Umbrian artists to celebrate “I love Umbria” month. Here are five pieces in particular that caught my eye.
Flower necklace in 63.4 grams of 18k yellow gold with 773 cts. t.w. multicolored beryl; $24,300; Enrico Morbidoni
Necklace in 18k gold with South Sea pearls, 82 cts. t.w. multi-color sapphires, and 1.30 colorless diamonds; $25,000; Enrico Morbidoni
Ring in 18k gold with 232 cts. t.w. cognac citrine and 2.70 cts. t.w. peridot; $8,100; Enrico Morbidoni
