Powdery pink hues ruled the runways about a year ago, and it’s been acting as a delicate, must-have shade ever since. Playing the part of a neutral on most occasions‚ pale pink can fill in for its fellow nudes, whites, and grays or can stand alone very well on its own. It’s hard to find a color that it doesn’t pair well with—some combinations may be a bit more adventurous than others (say, pink and orange), but no pairing is out of the question. That’s why it’s such an excellent look in jewelry—down to the ever-popular rose gold—and it’s advantageous to stock your fair share of morganite, pink quartz, pink diamonds, and other gemstones in similar hues this season and beyond. Its popularity doesn’t seem to be waning anytime soon—Pantone even included a shade only slightly richer but still light, dubbed Strawberry Ice, in its recent 2015 Spring Color Report. And the jewels just keep rolling in. In my hunt for new fall jewels to add to JCK Marketplace, I’ve come across a noticeable amount of gems that match this trend perfectly, and each is as pretty as the last.
