I have always thought of the springtime as the ultimate romantic season. Probably because all of the animated movies I used to watch as a kid (and now), depicted love affairs blooming just as soon as the flowers did. Who could ever forget the use of the term twitterpated from Bambi? Fast-forward to adult life, and I’m pretty sure there’s more meaning behind that, but I digress. The sun begins to shine, the air is fresh, and life just looks pretty good in the spring. So it’s high time for couples to start getting engaged—or at least to come in looking for rings to get engaged with. It’s true that a large number of proposals happen between the months of November through January, but those on the hunt for that special ring start their searches earlier than that. And with the arrival of a new season comes new jewels to go with it—five, as a matter of fact—all waiting for their own love story in which to play a part.
