Not too long ago, I walked across a grand stage in a long flowing gown and high heels, smiled and waved at my parents, and accepted a life-changing honor. No, I wasn’t crowned Miss America—I graduated from college.
While I stood on the cusp of adulthood, I was a nervous wreck inside, pondering the impending uncertainties that post-graduate life had to offer me.
