A 341.9 ct. diamond has been recovered from Lucara Diamond Corp.’s Karowe Mine in Botswana.
The stone is a type IIa diamond with “exceptional color and clarity,” the company reports.
“The recovery of this magnificent stone once again confirms the quality of diamonds contained within the Karowe resource,” said William Lamb, president and CEO.
The diamond will be sold alongside two other diamonds of more than 100 cts. that have also been recovered in the mine, though dates for the sale have not been announced.
