Pantone has announced its Color of the Year for 2013: Emerald! The deep, luxurious hue is a big change from 2012’s Tangerine Tango, but I’m certainly not complaining. While I adore both colors, I see emerald as being extremely wearable for everyone, and without a doubt it will be embraced by many, be it on the fashion runways or in the home, and most certainly in jewelry.
