Owners Mark and Rhonda Jacobson accepted the award in Atlanta
The 24 Karat Club of the Southeastern United States has awarded the 2016 Jeweler of the Year Award to Mark and Rhonda Jacobson, owners of Cumberland Diamond Exchange in Smyrna, Ga.
The couple was presented with the award at the organization’s annual banquet in Atlanta on Aug. 6.
“Our Jeweler of the Year for 2016 is a family who enhances the jewelry-buying experience for anyone entering their store,” said Michael E. Fallaize (pictured, l., with the Jacobsons), former president of 24K Club SEUS, in his introduction at the award ceremony.
“Serving the community where we live, work, and play is a privilege,” said Rhonda Jacobson in her acceptance speech. “We feel it’s our responsibility to bless others when we have been blessed.”
Added Mark Jacobson: “As a company we feel it’s our obligation to support the nonprofits in our community. This award validates that we are doing the right thing.”
