2008 Jewelers Executive Conference Announces Dates and Educational Goals

The Jewelers Executive Conference sixth bi-annual regional conference for jewelry store executives will be held March 15 and 16 at the Doubletree Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas. Conference Co-Chairs Vicki Cunningham, Tulsa, Okla., and Tom Wright, Lincoln, Neb., said that the conference will provide jewelry store owners, managers and decision-making executives with both formal and informal educational opportunities that will help them throw their “loupe” around better sales and bigger profits. 

The conference includes displays by 50 of the jewelry industry’s suppliers and presentations by seven nationally known educational presenters. Heading the list of creative and outside-the-box thinkers is Rick Segel, who will elaborate on his “Five Step Formula To Small Business Success” and provide an insider’s look at uncovering the possibilities that many independent jewelers either overlook or are reluctant to try.
