Wishes can come true, and Marie Helene Morrow, owner of Reinhold Jewelers in San Juan, is giving her fellow Puerto Ricans the opportunity to have theirs granted by debuting the 1884 Collection of Italian coin jewelry in some of her eight stores.
Representatives of the 1884 Collection invited Marlene Cruz Garcia, who competed in the 2013 Miss Universe Puerto Rico pageant under the title of Miss Universe Patillas (Patillas is a municipality in Puerto Rico), to attend the recent launch party and to model some of the works of designers Alberto Petochi and Loren Hull. The entire 1884 Collection was on display, and Morrow explained her enthusiasm for the launch to the press: “In 1884 Collection, you have the crucial ingredients needed for success—a new perspective, an innovative product, a passionate team, and most of all, a story to tell that every client will relate to.”
Buyers of the collection can make a wish, register it online, and 1884 will toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain in Rome on behalf of the registrant. The firm is also partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make even more wishes come true, and sponsored Garcia in the Miss Universe Puerto Rico pageant.
