Although September is historically one of the rainier months of the year, the headline of this article isn’t totally deceiving—so long as there is the color of sunshine to spread around. If you read my post last week on color trends from the NYFW runways, yellow was a favorite for spring. But why wait until the snow melts? Now is a great time to get a head start on your yellow gemstone stock, since the hue shines so bright in any season. In fall, it gleams with the golden leaves; in winter, it pairs with the angelic glow of string lights and candlelit scenes; in spring, it’s the cheery pastel that warms our still-frozen fashions; and in summer, it’s the sunshine that burns with electrifying heat.
