She’s done it again. For the third year in a row, JCK senior editor Jennifer Heebner has released her much-anticipated and eerily accurate list of jewelry trends for the year. Twelve looks for 2014—everything from specific gemstones to bold colors and styles—can be found here. And for the second year in a row, I’ll be joining her in sharing with you our favorite pieces to go along with each of the 12 trends. So if you haven’t already, check out Jen’s 12 Jewelry Trends for 2014: The Third Annual List of What to Buy, Sell, and Stock in the Year Ahead, and join us as we take this fashionable journey of jewelry!
Trend No. 10: Bracelets
The recent fall/winter fashion shows enforced our desire to adorn our wrists in a big way. As Jen Heebner said in her original predictions, the fact that bracelets will continue to be worn is sort of a no-brainer. But it’s not just about the bracelet, though, it’s about how the bracelet is worn. If we’re not stacking bangles and delicate line bracelets with as much vigor as we do our rings, then we might be looking for a high-impact single piece: wide-as-can-be cuffs, hand bracelets (bear with me here), and the bracelet/ring combination piece (otherwise referred to as a hand chain). Bottom line: We want them all. As the weather gets warmer and the long sleeves get stashed away (wishful thinking here), bare wrists are going to call for lots of adorning. Give your clients exactly what they need with these gems below. Select your favorites for more information on how to get them into your store.
