Bed Bath & Beyond adds jewelry into its beyond comprehension category, Tiffany & Co. sues Costco, a diamond the size of a small meteor is found in Russia (and then an actual meteor hits the country), the “gold era” ends, and Brodkey’s Jewelers is in limbo after Chapter 11.
