WYS Jewelry Unveils Karat Gold and Sterling Silver Temporary Tattoos

If you admired the chic golden tats you spied trendy girls wearing over the summer (most purchased from accessory meccas like Claire’s or even Wal-Mart), then there is now a way to get in on the luxe looks as only a fine jeweler can. Enter WYS Jewelry‘s new 24k gold and sterling silver temporary tattoos, ranging in retail price from $8 to $60 a tattoo. The fun fleeting styles are made in Italy, are available exclusively from WYS on the East Coast, and can be purchased in packs of 36 or 96 SKUs complete with a promotional poster. Designs include flowers, butterflies, and scrolling vine effects, among others, and are ready to ship now, just in time for holiday gifting. Applying them couldn’t be easier (says the editor who has been playing with several styles over the past week): Just press the tattoo side down where you want it and gently wipe away the paper backing with a damp cloth. Of course, they are lab tested and biocompatible—completely safe to wear—and so far, it looks like they will last the week they are supposed to. I like them as a focal point on the neckline, as well as a gilded support when smaller designs are paired with live gold jewels on the hand and wrist.
