If fashionable consumers are looking for matched sets of rings, there is one designer who should be credited with popularizing this trend: Nicolas Ghesquière. The brass ring sets of Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière have been ubiquitous in fashion editorials this season. I identified in my last blog post one sighting of the ring set in the February 2013 issue of Elle. There are plenty more.

The ring set from Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière has a look editorially considered “just right” to accompany the fashions of the season, but it is not the only styling of multiple rings that is receiving editorial notice—which is good news for jewelry designers.
