Jewel of the Month: Christopher Designs’ Fancy Yellow Ring

This time of year, when it seems that we live in an endless winter, yellow is arguably the most comforting color. In pastel it’s a breath of spring, a reminder that softer weather and warmer temperatures are on the way. At its most electric, it’s the color of the bright sun, and who doesn’t want to feel the kiss of that right about now? I’m not certain that this is the reason that Christopher Designs‘ sensational diamond ring was so beloved through all of February (and certainly it will continue to be admired), but I’ve got to believe that its 5.04 ct. fancy yellow radiant-cut diamond center brought its share of good feelings to those who eyed it. It helps that the stunning center stone is surrounded in a sparkling border of 1.54 cts. t.w. round brilliants—this piece radiates with infinite glitter. Will it keep me warm through a blizzard (in March? Ugh!)? Maybe not realistically, but it’s a great place to start.
