Trésor Collection’s New Lente Gold and Diamond Entry-Price Jewelry

Lentils are a staple in the diet of vegetarian jewelry designer Puja Bordia, who takes inspiration from the little brown beans in a new 18k gold collection dubbed Lente.

The Miami-based artist behind Trésor Collection designed the line to hit a price point—from $280 to $5,600—that retailers need to drive impulse buys from the ever-important female self-purchaser. Plus, with most of her collections featuring colored stones, Bordia felt that another gold-intense line (her Signature Logo collection is also metal intense without gems) would help collectors better layer and mix existing pieces.

“We felt the need to create a very classic yet modern line that goes with almost all the pieces a wearer owns,” she explains.

Twenty-two SKUs are available with or without diamonds in white, yellow, or rose gold. To date, 18 retailers have placed orders, and Bordia is hopeful that more will follow suit. “A few more have to follow up and confirm orders,” she notes.
