Enveloped in a Comme des Garçons creation—matching the gala’s theme—the singer looked (predictably) phenomenal, matching flawless face makeup with heeled sandals wrapped thigh-high. Sculptural petals comprised the—dress?—floating across her chest and down one side, asymmetrically. If it wasn’t the flowers that stole the show (though, it was), the color red was a close runner-up (consider your desire for red shoes renewed). Put two and two together, and bold floral is where it’s at.
The jewels? Pieces from her own Rihanna ♥︎ Chopard capsule collection, including a floral watch clad in over 30 cts. of diamonds and oversized flower earrings evocative of her ensemble. Naturally.
