Rembrandt Places ‘Charm Kiosks’

Kiosk Information Systems (KIS) has contracted with Rembrandt Charms, Buffalo, N.Y., to produce 11 KT-110 Stealth kiosks for placement in 11 jewelry stores nationwide that offer Rembrandt Charms as part of their jewelry collections. The “Charm Kiosks” allow customers to view more than 2,600 charm styles; search for particular charms by category, keyword, or style number; and print photo receipts of the charms they like best. The Charm Kiosks have been placed in the following jewelry stores: Bailey’s Fine Jewelry, Raleigh, N.C.; Charms By The Bay, Pier 39, San Francisco; Day’s Fine Jewelers, Portland, Maine; Fortunoff, Woodbridge Mall, Woodbridge, N.J.; Jewelry Service Center, Arundel Mills, Md.; King Jewelers, Mall of America, Bloomington, Minn.; Lux, Bond & Green, Hartford, Conn.; Michaels Jewelers, Avon, Conn.; Robson’s Diamond Jewelers, Baytown, Texas; Smyth Jewelers, Timonium, Md.; and Windsor Jewelers, Augusta, Ga.

The kiosk can display every charm style in Rembrandt’s line of 2,600. The receipt printer allows customers to provide the jeweler with a photo of the charm for special ordering or show it to friends and family as a gift suggestion. The jeweler’s contact information and Web site also appear on the receipt, making it possible for visitors to a particular store to order the charm from home.
